This meetup is for all mothers who are breastfeeding and/or pumping. It is a fun time for mothers to connect and socialize with other moms, weigh your baby, and ask breastfeeding questions.
Mothers and babies only! There is no cost, but donations are welcome.

Breastfeeding is a beautiful and rewarding journey, but it can also come with its fair share of challenges. Having a community of fellow mothers who understand what you’re going through can make a world of difference. SOS Lactation Breastfeeding Meet-Up is a safe and welcoming space for all mothers who are breastfeeding or pumping to come together, share their experiences, ask questions, and find encouragement from one another.
Whether you’re a new mom still adjusting to breastfeeding or a seasoned mother looking to share advice, this meet-up is designed to foster connection and support. Mothers and babies only! This event is a baby-friendly environment, free of charge, where your little one is the focus of your attention. While there’s no cost to attend, donations are always appreciated to help us continue offering this valuable resource to the community.
Why Join Our Breastfeeding Meet-Up?
Motherhood can sometimes feel isolating, especially during the early months of breastfeeding or pumping. The Breastfeeding Meet-Up gives you a chance to step out of the house and connect with other moms who are walking a similar path.
Who Should Attend?
The Breastfeeding Meet-Up is open to all breastfeeding and pumping mothers, regardless of whether you’re exclusively breastfeeding, combining breastfeeding with formula feeding, or expressing milk to bottle feed your baby. If you’ve experienced challenges such as latching difficulties, low milk supply, or returning to work while breastfeeding, this group is for you. We welcome mothers at every stage of the breastfeeding journey, from those nursing newborns to those breastfeeding toddlers.
What Can You Expect at the Meet-Up?
- Baby Weigh-Ins: One of the highlights of our meet-up is the opportunity to weigh your baby. Keeping track of your baby’s growth is an important part of monitoring their development, and our facilitators will guide you through the process. You can get a sense of how your breastfeeding or pumping routine is supporting your baby’s growth. This is also a chance to ask any weight-related questions you may have or discuss concerns with other moms.
- Breastfeeding Q&A: If you have breastfeeding-related questions—whether about latch issues, milk supply, or feeding routines—this is the perfect space to ask. Sometimes, hearing from other moms who’ve experienced similar challenges can provide insights and solutions that work for you. We encourage mothers to share their experiences, advice, and strategies. Occasionally, a lactation consultant may be available to offer professional advice and answer more complex breastfeeding questions.
- Socialize and Build Friendships: Our meet-ups are a wonderful opportunity to make new friends who are going through similar life stages. It’s easy to feel isolated as a new mom, but these gatherings provide a much-needed outlet to share experiences, laugh, and even vent with others who understand what you’re going through. Motherhood is a lot easier when you have a support system, and we aim to create that through these meet-ups.
- Casual, Relaxed Atmosphere: There’s no formal agenda—this is your time to relax. Whether you prefer to sit and chat quietly with a small group of moms or actively seek advice and engage with others, the meet-up is designed to be laid-back and pressure-free. Feel free to bring a comfortable blanket or nursing pillow if that helps you feel more at ease.
- Breastfeeding Resources: While the meet-up is primarily social, we also offer access to resources and information that may help you in your breastfeeding journey. From educational handouts to local support groups, we want to ensure you leave feeling more confident and connected.
